About This Guide
Die in the Dungeon Guide is an independent, community-driven resource for players of the dice-based deckbuilding roguelike by ATICO. We focus on the calls that change run outcomes: which dice are worth early commitment, when a relic confirms a line versus baiting you into one, and how to preserve tempo before elites and bosses punish drift.
The site is maintained as a strategy hub rather than a patch-churn feed. We prefer fewer pages with cleaner decision support over shallow daily-update language that does not actually help a run. Tier lists, build pages, and sequencing guides are treated as working tools, not generic content buckets.
Roguelike deckbuilders are easy to describe badly. A lot of surface-level advice sounds useful until it ignores tempo loss, shop pressure, elite timing, or how a promising die package falls apart without the right relic support. We try to write for the point where a run becomes expensive to recover, because that is where a guide either earns trust or wastes it.
That is why the site leans toward sequencing, archetype stability, and decision quality rather than novelty. A page should help players answer real run questions: whether to commit, pivot, skip, or preserve consistency for one more floor. If it cannot do that, it does not deserve to sit in the main route of the site.
We use official store information, gameplay review, and community testing to keep recommendations grounded. When a relic line, dice package, or boss plan stops surviving current balance, we would rather revise the page than leave a polished but stale answer online.
